As a Central Wisconsin native, Robin knows the community well and certainly knows her way around a gym. Don't let her stature fool you, because her aerobics game is off the chart. You can see her at the Rib Mountain location most days, helping new members register and become familiar with our locations. She's been in the fitness industry for over a decade and has an indispensable wealth of knowledge to share.

Danny Nichols has had an extensive athletic career. When his goals for the NFL didn't work out as planned, he began participating in a variety of different sports including body building, Olympic Weightlifting, Crossfit and even trying out for the WWE.

 

Danny Most notable as a GRID competition Champion and MVP and as a formidable CrossFit Games competitor coming in 18th in his bracket within the U.S. in 2018. Within the sport Danny, holds the record for the thruster at 325 pounds.

 

Since discovering CrossFit he has been coaching athletes as well as general fitness clients. It's been an incredible journey that's brought Danny to Central Wisconsin, and he brings world-class training to clients here.

Ashley has perservered through a number of personal struggles in her life including death of a parent at an early age, obesity and depression, very low self esteem, S.A.D. and postpartum. She understands and connects with the underlying emotional barriers we often face when it comes to our health.

She struggled herself, but lost 60 lbs and I fell in love with what health and fitness did for her. It has since become her passion to help others find their light!

Sarah has been teaching and personal training for over 10 years.  Sarah found her passion with group fitness and her classes at LIFT include Bootcamp, Cycling, TRX, and Tread and Tone. She also runs Sports/Agility camps for youth during the summers. 

Sarah enjoys and has completed marathons, half marathons, and triathlons.  She has also completed the half Ironman Competition. 

Her clients range in age from youth to adult. Their fitness goals varyfrom competition prep to those just trying to connect to their community through fitness. 

"With every person that walks into my class [my goal] is to make them feel welcome, like family.  Together we go through the highs and lows of life and we are always there to build each other up on those rough days."

Heather is a certified personal trainer with 15 years of experience.  She's a certified group fitness instructor, who has worked in many gyms with all ages and fitness levels over the course of the last decade.  She has also done in-home personal training for 11 years, and has experience with clients facing physical disabilities as well. 

Heather has been a strength and conditioning coach/trainer for high school hockey athletes for 6 years.

"I want to lead by example.  To show people that age means nothing, you can be fit at any age.  To empower as many people as possible, to find greatness within themselves.  To help them see the potential that every single one of us has inside, young or old."

KARA PLAUTZ

Kara leads the SHRED classes which is one of our most challenging classes focusing on strength and conditioning. However, she specializes in working with clientele that face joint pain, recovery from injury, or are just trying to stay active at an older age. She keeps her clients fit by working on strength and cardio for bone density, heart rate, circulation and all around well being.

Jared has been a natural athlete for most of his life. In college, he found the gym a place to channel his competitive drive. He works with clients with goals varying from toning up to perfecting their physique in preparation for bodybuilding competition. He's an outstanding coach and independent trainer.

Abby is a part time TRX trainer at LIFT, and a full time Rehab Facilitator at Ruppel Chiropractic. Her degree is in Public Health Education and she uses that knowledge every day teaching group exercise classes or just making conversation with people who have an interest in their health.

Chris is a personal trainer working with clients most weekday mornings at the LIFT Central location. Chris has personally competed in multiple 5ks and weight lifting events. He placed in the top 1% of Tough Mudder Minnesota as well. Chris advocates a combination of weight training, cardio conditioning, and a healthy diet, to help achieve their goals.

"When I look at exercise and fitness, I don’t see it as something I have to do but as a part of my life. That being said, the only way I believe a person will see results is through proper diet and hard work. There is no way around that. This is how I go about training my clients, my class, and myself. It is a no nonsense approach but is effective."
